Come and learn piano with me in Healesville! I specialise in teaching students who have never played or rusty players that haven't played for a while and need to brush up.
I am aware of how busy life gets and how it can be difficult to commit to weekly lessons. I want you to be able to book in for a lesson whenever it suits you and if you don't feel like it or can't make it, you can simply let me know at the start of the day.

There's no need to commit to the same time each week, but if you do want weekly lessons, you can book your spots in advance! If you can't make your lesson, please let me know at the start of the day, as I have childcare commitments of my own to arrange. Please note, I don't offer refunds for your lesson but you can reschedule to a time that suits you.
The flexibility works both ways as I am also a working actress and castings can come in at the last minute for me, so I may need to switch your lesson around. This isn't very often but please be aware it can happen.

Your Healesville Piano Teacher
I have been playing the piano for over 30 years and I've been teaching for 6 years. I’m trained in a range of techniques – classical, pop, rock and the blues – which influence my teaching style. This gives me a rounded approach, so I know what works to improve your skills. I cater to the student so there is no set way of teaching, it depends what you enjoy and what you are interested in.
Some students like to learn the classical way and study to take exams, where other students are interested in chords and improvisation and playing pop songs. Whatever style you are interested in, I will make sure you get a rounded, fun and thorough teaching experience.
I have taken ABRSM and RockSchool exams up to Grade 6 as well as Grade 6 Theory. I am currently preparing to take the Grade 8 ABRSM exam.
